Dash Programming2

We’re introducing coding activities to grades 3-8 @ EMS, FMS and EES with the introduction of our new robots Dash and Dot.  We are using five different apps to engage the students in drag and drop coding.  The students have been working in small groups to collaborate and create a plan to navigate Dash through a series of steps and accrue a high score, including strategy for utilizing directions, angles, repeats, if/then clauses and variables.  Here we see two third graders working on the same challenge, despite their native tongue languages being different.   This is amazing!  The language of coding is universal.
